I created this website to support the ongoing investigation of the history and sociology of economic journalism.
I am a science studies scholar based in the United Kingdom. My research has been devoted to three related streams, the communication of social science, the politics of expertise and the political economy of science.
I began researching the history of economic journalism in 2007 as a postdoctoral researcher funded by the Portuguese Fundacao para a Ciencia e Tecnologia, based at the Technical University of Lisbon and at Duke University. I resumed that work as principal investigator in a Starting Grant of the European Research Council in 2012-16, hosted at the University of Cambridge and University College London.
